On the 29th of May we had the pleasure of hosting a design conversation session with the topic of Designing with Cultural Heritage, at the CUMULUS Rovaniemi 2019 Conference.

Presentations included Jonna Häkkilä’s introduction to the topic, and Iiris Kestilä’s talk about the ethics and legislation aspects when designing with cultural heritage. Maija Mäkikalli brought a historical view on the topic, and Elina Luiro discussed about designing with virtual reality and cultural heritage in her talk. Following the presentations the presenters and audience gathered together to discuss and share ideas on the challenges, ethics, forums and future on designing with cultural heritage.
